PRESS RELEASE BY SOVEREIGN BASE AREAS COURTS

SEARCH OF PERSONS AND POSESSIONS AT THE SBA COURTS WITH THE USE OF HAND-HELD METAL DETECTORS

 

The Court services of the Sovereign Base Areas, wishes to inform the public that, Security Officer will be holding searches of persons and possessions, prior to granting access to Court premises. As the SBA Court in Episkopi is situated within Episkopi Garrison, search will be conducted at the bus collection spot, before entering the Garrison. Public are requested to arrive at the Court well in advance to ensure that any delays are avoided.

These arrangements fall under the Strategic Objective of the SBA Administration, for enhancing security at the SBA Courts and safety of personnel and the public.
